And I let the music play

And I let the music play

A Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon
"

An attempted description on the process of writing a poem.

"
And I let the music play.

The tranqulizing notes hovering,
spinning, and wrapping around me.
Leaving a wonderful state of numbness
and letting the spirit run free.

Stripped from the social limitations.
Alone, only nature for company.
and the music that I hear
that comes in a faint cheer.

I take up my pencil,
and I leave my hand numb
I watch as my hand move.
as nature acts as my thumb.

The scribblings appear.
For only my eyes to bear.
As I move around the rhymes.
And fix the little whistles and chimes.

The result, is a combination.
Nature's beauty, given to see.
and the writers mark inside me.
Together, is how the rhymes form.

But, I speak for all of us.
When I say, pencil in hand.
Lost in the endless world.
Where I lead the only herd.

Author's Note

Ryan Falzon - Tymon
Rhyming makes a poem oh so difficult, but it just adds that little zest that makes it so wonderful.

A personal poem, on how I feel when writing.
