Animal

Animal

A Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon

A tree living in the sand.
A fox howling with the wolves.
This is how I stand.
Locked tight inside a cage.
An animal, gathering rage.
Waiting for the day to break loose,
hunting down the cagers themselves.
That day will never come, I'll never leave.
So I sit here, from morn to eve.
Everyday, hoping to start a fight.
And if I do, I shall kill the restless night.

Wow.. I really loved this poem, and how dark and sad this is... The emotions are wonderful...the rhymes are amazing, i especially love the last stanza, and "kill the restless night". Love this. :)
