ConfusionA Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon
As the wind blows far.
The tiger roars afar. The birds float in the sky, As the fish fly up high. The sun shines at night,
The lion cowers in fright. The birds walk on the earth. The fish fly and give birth. The Trees grow from energy-less sand, Death spreads across the green land, The sly fly catches the stupid spider, As the confusion grows even wider. Is this how the land works? Am I right? Am I wrong? Your face covered with smirks As my mind is riddled with your song. The king is never heard. his word considered absurd The peasant kills the dragon, The knight serves the flagon. The women are drunks, The men are monks. The children lie and steal The adults are told to heel. The castle built from clay. The towers, small in display. The soldiers wield nothing The peasants hold something. Is this how the land works? Am I right? Am I wrong? Your face covered with smirks As my mind is riddled with your song. The punches feel soft and warm. The hugs feel hard and raise a storm. The violence is now kindness The peace is now blindness Is this how the land works? Am I right? Am I wrong? Your face covered with smirks As my mind is riddled with your song. © 2010 Ryan Falzon - TymonReviews
