Day and Night.

Day and Night.

A Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon

The flowers sway in the breeze,
The grass, filled with creatures.
Each has it's own unique features.
Another world, in each step.
The water, as still as statue.
Almost as if solid glass,
It's inhabitants break the illusion.
As the we watch from the grass.
The candle shines each day.
Blown out when everyone rests.
The flame, now completely dead.
Still shows it's power on the unlit candle.
In this night, Silence has settled.
As all of the creatures. once enemies.
Now rest together, in the moonlight.
Until dawn, where they shall again fight.
A few dare to break nature's only rule.
As they hunt their prey in darkness.
As the morning comes, the evil ones rest.
Waiting for another night of cruelty.
