Group of small poemsA Poem by Ryan Falzon - TymonA group of very small(4-liner) poems, will add more.
I want to run free.
I want to just be. I want to turn the key. I want to enjoy me. ------------------------------------------------------ I see the angles turn limp. I see the devils ready to trim. I see the lights start to dim. I try to stand against the grim. ------------------------------------------------------ I'll never heel and I'll never rest. I'll keep on facing the endless test. Until I find the hidden treasure chest. I must remember I'm just a guest. --------------------------------------------------------- Another year has passed by, A little older,A little more sly, An extra candle is added to the cake, And a little less time for us to take. -------------------------------------------------------- I'll tell you now how I'll survive, I'll fight where others hide, I'll fly where others glide, I'll enjoy the dreadful ride! -------------------------------------------------------- Everything is a waiting game, That which lacks a name, In the end, it's all the same. --------------------------------------------------------- The river races to the finish line, From which it'll start all over again. It keeps running as fast as it can, Until it reaches the final end. -------------------------------------------------------- The devil has a thousand ways, to get his dark tail through you. Open your eyes, ears and mind. And listen to the devil, behind each face. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Fishing in the sea of destiny. Trying to find a life mate. Never biting to my line. Ignoring my pitiful bait. © 2010 Ryan Falzon - Tymon |
