The last danceA Poem by Ryan Falzon - TymonThis poem is about a man being tortured.
The last dance;Take a last glance
Silence your lies;Face your demise The time has come; The deed is done Don't try to resist;Useless to persist. Give up, useless to try;Better to just sit and cry. The task is just too great.;You've made a grave mistake. The dance is only about to begin,No chance for you to win. So just stop this game; You are bringing more shame. Such courage, you still stand;Let's see where you land. I gave you an easy way out;All you had to do was shout. Enjoy your prolonged pain,It's all part of the same game. I have plenty of tricks;Sadly, none of them are quick. Are you going to sing?;What do I have to bring? No?,That is just fine;We have plenty of time. Useless is a gun,I'll think of something, you can't run. I can bring what you fear;or destroy that you hold dear. Finally the words flew;I listen, tapping my shoe. It's sad to see a broken man;As he begs for death's hand. © 2010 Ryan Falzon - TymonAuthor's Note
