Stronghold

Stronghold

A Poem by Ryan Falzon - Tymon
"

Poem about useless wars and fights.

"
In a place only seen by my eyes,
a tall, sturdy stronghold lies.
Alone it stands, circled by meadow,
Oblivious to the hidden shadow.

The castle, is an empty knoll
No King,No peasants, not a soul.
The walls surround it to protect,
Unmovable in their solid act.

The sky darkness, and rain falls.
Blurs slamming into the walls.
Small,Sharp Soldiers at fast speeds,
Bouncing back harmlessly, without heed.

The rain keeps falling harmlessly,
The walls are unmoved, proudly
Protecting the proud stronghold
from which nothing unfolds

This poem speaks about the endless wars and fights about the world. The arrows fall on the castle, and do no harm, yet they keep falling.
