The Black RoseA Poem by Ryan Falzon - TymonA poem about how each object is seen differently by each pair of eyes, Old poem I wrote quite a while ago, but uploading it here :)The Black Rose. The symbol of
pure beauty The symbol of
perfection no thorns, no
complication, just the black
petals. The black rose's
pitch darkness, where light is
completely devoured, Only those who
are truly heartless, can simply ignore
this perfect flower Shining in the
right light, the black rose brings beauty to pain, and lightens up
the heart of many, and puts those
who hurt to shame. The symbol of
fear The symbol of
death Hidden thorns,
full of regret. The black pedals,
with plenty to hide. I do not know,
which story to believe, for each one has its
own truth, and each one has
a goal to achieve, and each one has
to spread it's fruit. But in reality,
the rose is nothing. a simple flower,
just like the others. yet what gives the
rose so much meaning? what makes it
stand-out from the rest of her brothers? The plant shines
at the touch of a hand, for each hand
that holds it up high, has his own
little story to tell to the flower, and the rose will
remember his tale,
and tell it to him
whenever they meet.
