The Flock versus God

God lied and condemned everybody to Hell. You are leading the revolt against Heaven.

Lucifer,

If you think this is revenge, then you are horribly mistaken. Revenge is when you slay the murderer of a loved one taken too soon, or seek the bosom of an enemies wife after he does the unspeakable to yours. What we are about to embark on is far from anything as nominal as that, and it would be a travesty to insult such a beautiful journey from such a dark place. We, the human race, are after redemption, we are chasing after our own souls, and we will give up any chance of eternity for it.

As I write this to you, there are billions wandering the emblazoned walk ways of Hell, shouting in unison for justice. Through the nonstop torment, they continue marching on, each voice coming together to rattle the confines of this torturous existence.

God, why have you forsaken us? Why, Almighty, have you forsaken your people?

The shouts have grown louder as the decades drag on and an eternal motivation to escape was born. The more we yelled, the more the blackened sky cracked, gently letting a peaceful white light slip through. That first glimpse was all we needed, that is all it took for us to realize the power we had in our numbers.

Through our tireless effort and our unbreakable bond, the cracks have turned into crevices. The minimal light that shined through is now radiating brightly through the thick, black clouds above. The sky shutters because it feels our pain. Our God shutters because he feels our wrath. Redemption will be ours.
