The Great Lightshorian Crusade

In The Beginning

In 4984BTR there was travel across Eaufrath in search of new land and resources, Lightshore was one of many small nations that had formed to complete this task. They were not the biggest of these Nations but each and every one of their warriors was full of spirit and the will of the Isles, their warriors felt a calling to this new land, more than any others. This calling made them more powerful, gave them power beyond any Nation.

As the nations crowded and built ports along the Isles, Lightshore was preparing for battle. Instead of building ports and trying to set up land dominance, they set up their military in the sea. While the others filed onto the land they swept their boats and armies through the seas, surrounding the western side of the Isles. They set up blockades, battleships, cannon ports, canon ships, all that they needed to insure superiority over the Western Isles, which would be later known as the Lightshorian Republic. The Western Isles, now controlled by Lightshore became a hostile area amongst the nations. Nations avoided the area in total and feared the now infamous Lightshorian 1st Imperial Crusade. This newly built auxiliary was designed for distruction. They did not fear death, death only motivated them more. “If one was to die, one was to die with his enimies blood running through his heart” they would say. This unit was the strongest Lightshorian unit the Nations had ever seen, they commanded respect and order in the sea and on land. No one could stop them and this is what started the 1st Lightshorian Crusade.

 Lightshore eventually set up their inland ports in the Western Isles and then spread the 1st Imperial Crusade along their land. The whole western side of the Isles was swarmed by these auxiliary units. They worked in corporations within each unit. Each of these corporations had Corp Leaders which would lead and control their Corporation in battle. The amount of organization that was commanded throughout the Corps was tremendous and destroyed nations at ease.

The First Invasion-The Toqopan Fallage-4990BTR-8:55 Morn

The first invasion started in 4990BTR. The Toqopan Empire had had enough of the new Lightshorian Republic, the republic was getting stronger by the day and they figured they would only grow and become stronger. They knew that if they didnt do anything the Republic would grow until they were unstoppable and consume all the Nations in total. Upon realization they came up with a plan to eliminate this enemy. They thought of an invasion. The invasion occurred on the 5th moon of 4990BTR. At 8:55 Morn they attacked the eastern border of the Lightshorian Republic. This attack went well, they targeted their attack on the 10546-Dratus  Corporation Unit. This unit was one of the many in the Dratus Corporation. The unit fell in surprise of this attack and surrendered under the Toqopan rule. The loss of contact to their unit  alerted the Dratus Corporation to the invasion. Upon notice the Dratus Corporation alerted the capital of the Republic, Prenles, and asked for assistance. The capital denied this request and only sent in an  officer. This officer would be later known as Azin Bekrag. He was a high ranking officer well equipped to lead the Dratus Units, and he did so very well. As soon as he entered the field, the Units battle positions changed, their strategies and tactics changed as well. With General Bekrag,  the Toqopan Empire fell and ended up being defeated and conquered at the end of the war. The war was named the Toqopan Fallage due to their quick demise and their astonishing fall and collapse. The Dratus Corporation then continued on to take control of the entire Toqopan Empire and took it under the Lightshorian Republic. After this defeat, many nations planning attack ceased their operations and many surrendered if called to war against the Republic. This started the 2nd Lightshorian Crusade.

This reads more like an historical essay or a chapter from a history book than a piece of fantasy fiction. We've had the entire 1st Lightshorian Crusade, yet met no characters? Heard about no specific incidents?

A few things that don't make sense, too. This Lightshorian nation is a hostile force that expands through conquest, but is governed by a Republic? That is, a democratically elected government with a President elected by the people. Then there's your corporations. These are businesses. Executive companies that trade in stocks and shares. And they're fighting wars against nations?

I'm sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but it's possibly why you've had 40 views in three weeks, and no reviews. There is an idea here, but I think it needs developing and expanding.
