Left Inside

Left Inside

A Poem by Roger Morrison
"

3 sixes; go straight to jail, he moves his metal cannon forth. The princess gets a love surgery.

"

Left Behind

The princess gets a love surgery

At the hands of the moaning king

The queen is thrown to the shadows

Chained, she’s eaten endlessly

Their God, feared by the humble kingdom

Is stoned; he lands on Broadway

So stoned… he forgot It was already owned

By another God, he laughs and rolls again

3 sixes; go straight to jail

He moves his metal cannon forth

And the mad king burns down his castle

With the hollowed princess glassy eyed

Left inside
