Mother Hive

Mother Hive

A Poem by Roger Morrison
"

King of the snakes, reptillian sex slave writhe

Mother Hive

Tyler Dameron

Wasting time

Trying to survive

We get high

In the mother hive

You and I

We sink into the floor

Something wicked

Seeps under the door

… Sucks life from my pores

Lost in the desert

Not looking to be found

Grab some dancing sand

And form a crumbling crown

King of the snakes

Reptilian sex slave writhe

Don’t tell the queen you’ve seen

Outside the mother hive

… We let the silence thrive
