Please

Please

A Poem by Roger Morrison
"

Please remind her to smile, she hasn't in a while

"

Please

Tell me what she sees

Behind those crying eyes

You should know

If you've really been past her disguise

Please

Remind me to put these behind me

If it's really you

Meant to make new

Memories with her

Let all become a blur

Please

Remind her to smile

She hasn't in a while

As far as I've been told

Never let your love grow old

Be the man

That she wants to grow old with

If you can

Please

Remind her she's an angel

Listen when she talks about her bad days

Let yourself get caught up in the tangle

Every time you hear her voice

And in the darkness, have her hand to find

You better thank your god

For stealing the right words from my mind
