ThiefA Story by Ellie VeniceWriting challenge day 3. Write without using 'could' 'should' or 'would. I don't understand if this is actually supposed to be a challenge, though.
"Hey! Give that back!" I yelled into the hallway. Travis had gotten into my room and stolen my favorite pen, again. Last time he refused to give it back until I kissed him. I ended up washing my mouth three times after that. Now, he's taken it again.
He steps out of the room he was in, without his shirt. I saw his abs and extremely toned body. Whenever I'm around him, he's sitting around playing video games. Answer me this: How did he get a body like that. He dangles my pen between his forefinger and thumb. "If you want it, come and get it," he taunts. I contemplate whether or not it's worth it. That pen is a very expensive high-end fountain pen that was customized for my liking and given to me before I left for college. Yes, it is worth it. I spring out of my chair and run down the hall to his room. i slam open the door to see him put it in his pants. He lays back, his hands beneath his head, satisfied. "Go on," he says. "You can get it; I won't stop you," He smiles victoriously.
