With Two Eyes Closed, I See Clarity.

With Two Eyes Closed, I See Clarity.

A Poem by Tyler Rhinhart
"

Open your mind to the infinite possibilities capable within your own imagination. We are infinitely internal knowledgeable beings with the ability to create any reality we choose to exist within.

"
Once glued shut,
calcified by society,
my eye is wide open,
aware of my own deity.

Perhaps the gate way to our soul,
Or a sneak preview into the universe,
I now display unity within every verse.

Illuminating freedom wisps through my veins,
gentle like a cool breeze,
Generated by eyelashes when it blinks.

Once blind without a flashlight,
Hopelessly aiming in the dark,
I now see with clarity, visions, and sparks.

When I see, I see with understanding,
reassured not to worry,
because under the surface everything's in perfect standing.

Aware of every angle,
Observing all dimensions,
I look for possibilities in every misdirection.
My eye lets me write with ease about how I feel,
because every word is a new emotion.

With an eye wide open, you learn allot.
Reality is but a vision,
an illusion,
a plot.

The universe exists inside the pupil of my eye,
Buried within my mind.
Perhaps just premonition, a notion,
or perception as to where the cosmos may be aligned.

However, one things for certain,
I've never seen so clear,
the fear that lies beneath the surface of all my peers,
Soaked by every tear.

Increased insight,
and heightened intuition,
Combined with a luminous force that drives every decision.
My brain is the production of my eye's mind over matter interpretation.

An open eye raises the question,
could this life be never ending inception?
This portal of possibilities,
Sees things for what they truly are.
No reason is needed,
the truth may lie within a star.

The deeper I travel,
There's no looking back.
My mind puts on its pack,
And travels brightly through the black.

Maybe I'll stumble across a higher purpose,
Perhaps not at all.
Because Truth is divine,
defeating all rebuttal.

A truthful purpose found,
Is something somebody will never.
Though quotes and poems are clever,
Searching the depths of my mind I am bound.

You touch on an important subject. We grow up seeing the world as a result of how we're told to see it. And once we actually look for ourselves we find a lot of it is bull. I think you did a great job here.
