Humidity

A Poem by James Mckay

Humidity, Oh humidity
You have no idea that you're cooking me
Please chill out
Will you listen to me
Humidity, Oh humidity

Humidity, Oh humidity
You have no idea that you're boiling me
Please simmer down
You're burning me
Humidity, Oh humidity

Humidity, Oh humidity
You are making me sweat so profusely
Can't you cool off
You're torturing me
Humidity, Oh humidity

Humidity, Oh humidity
You're much higher than we believe
Can't you take a break
You're dissatisfying me
Humidity, Oh humidity

Can't you give us folks a break
Why is the temperature set at bake
Our ice melts faster than it does freeze
Humidity, Oh humidity

I don't even want to be outside
I'm afraid that my skin will fry
Texas can't you give me a gentle breeze
And please get rid of this humidity

Humidity, Oh humidity
Cooling off in that flowing creek
Got a bottle of cold water
Or some sweet ice tea
Thanks for everything

Humidity! NOT!!!
