Mother Nature

Mother Nature

A Poem by James Mckay

Sunny, cloudy day
Get ready and let's play
Sun, let me feel your rays
Puffy white, no longer grey

Freshly cut, greener grass
Rollin around; havin' a blast
If it rains; you grow up fast
Makin' each memory last

Cool, flowing springlike creek
Water feels good between the cheeks
A quick kiss I will sneak
She's exposed; I take a peek

Blowin', crispy wind
Need to dry off once again
Next to time; a real true friend
Can't wait to take off again

Cardinal of red; you seemed blessed
Feedin your babies in the nest
Don't mind me; be my guest
Let nature be your quest

Sun is gone; moon has come
Rest I must; I have earned some
It seems the stars are havin fun
Looks like this day is done

Thank you Mother Nature for I do rejoice
Let me tell you; You have quite the voice!
