Cold N HotA Poem by James Mckay
The waves crashed on shore; lightning flashed
Blackbird scattered from a nearby tree A few whitetail deer quickly lashed It was quite the spectacle; I did see The thunder rumbled. The clouds did form Droplets of rain turned to a drenching pour I admired in awe as I watched this storm Saturated ground; I sought shelter once more Soon it did pass; the sun popped out The heat did arise; I did miss the rain I asked for more showers; this I did shout But like always, I was ignored once again I know that this doesn't count as a tragedy But I'd give anything to get rid of this humidity! by: James W.
