Little ben went to the zoo

LITTLE BEN WENT TO THE ZOO
Little Ben was looking out his bedroom window looking up at
the stars through his telescope when he noticed that one of them
was brighter than the rest and it was moving, he watched it fall
from the sky into a field near his home.
He grabbed his dressing gown and put his slippers on and ran
downstairs and through the front door and ran as fast as he could
to the spot where he watched it fall, as he got closer to where it
fell he could see it glowing and ran up to it and he went to touch
it and it was cold, so he put it in his pocket and ran back home
before his parents noticed he’d gone. When he got back to his
bedroom, he took out the stone and put it on his bedside table,
took off his dressing gown and slippers and climbed into bed
and fell asleep.
When Ben awoke in the morning he sat up and reached for the
stone and said to it “where did you come from?”, and it spoke
back making him drop the stone on his bed in fright. “I’m from
a galaxy far away called trogon”. Ben couldn’t believe his ears
he fell back banging his head on his headrest. “Did you just
speak to me?” yes Ben the stone replied, I’m here to help you!
Help me! Why?
“I’ve been watching you for a long time and you’re a very
special, you have the ability to see the future and I’m here to
teach you how, and how you can change it.
How?
Just close your eyes and think about tomorrow and where you
will be going.
Well mum and dad are taking me to the zoo tomorrow and with
that thought he could see the lions and he could see the keeper
open the cage to feed them and one of the lions was hiding
behind a bush and escaped out thro to door of the cage and he
could see all the people running and screaming for their lives,
with that the dream stopped and Ben opened his eyes and asked
the stone “is that going to happen tomorrow?
Yes, it will but I’m here to help you!
Help me? How? Ben asked. You will see but you must take me with you ok.
The next day Ben woke up early as it was the day his parents
were taking him to the zoo. He got dressed and was just doing
his shoelaces up when mum called him for his breakfast. He ran
to the door and as he got there he heard a voice in his head say
“have you forgotten something” with that he spun around and
reached for the stone and put him in his pocket, ran downstairs
to the kitchen table to eat his breakfast. After breakfast they all
got into the car. “Put your seatbelt on and before dad could
finished Ben said, “done it”. It was going to be a few hours
before they get to the zoo, so dad put the radio on and they all
started singing to the songs, making up words because they
didn’t know the words to the songs. They all laughed happily on
their way stopping halfway to get a drink. Dad parked the car
and they all walked to the window, dad got his wallet out his
back pocket and paid for a family ticket and they all walked
through the turnstile. They see lots of animals, they got to the
elephants and see them in the water, “look dad, that ones
drinking , but it wasn’t it was just filling up its trunk to spray at
the people, look out mum look out dad but they all got wet.
“Dad can I run ahead to see the monkeys please” Yes go on
we’ll catch you up.” Ben got there just in time for the chimps’
dinner time. It was a mad house, there was food everywhere. It
was in their ears, up their noses, even between their toes. Ben
was crying with laughter. Mum and dad came up behind Ben
and Ben pointed at the monkeys and they both started laughing
with Ben. Just then they heard screaming, they looked around to
see where it was coming from. The lions have got out, someone
shouted. Ben ran behind a bush to hide and mum and dad hid in
a bush next to Ben. Ben reached into his pocket and pulled out
the stone. “Get down as low as you can. “Why?” you will see.
With that the stone got bigger and it changed into Ben. “how do
I look the stone asked”?” Wow you look just like me”, the stone
ran out of the bushes toward the lion , the stone looked into the
lions eyes and started humming, the lion was mesmerised and
the stone walked up to the lion and grabbed him by the neck
and took him back to the cage and shut the door. Then ran overto the bush the real Ben was hiding behind and shrank back to a
stone and Ben came out the bush. All the people started cheering
and clapping and one man
Ran over and put Ben on his shoulders and walked round the
zoo. Meanwhile the zookeeper was on the phone to the local
news paper and they came straightaway to get some pictures of
Ben standing next to the lion’s cage. They asked him how he
knew what to do and he said he see it on a nature program once.
The zoo gave Ben and his family a life free entrance and the
news paper gave him a little reward.
The next day dad called Ben downstairs, look at the front page
on the local paper he said. Ben looked and couldn’t believe his
eyes.
Boy saves people from lion attack
Did that really happen? said the voice in his head” yes, now can
you see what we can do together.”
And that was how they met and their first adventure.
There will be many more. Just ask Ben as he can see into the
future.
