Maybe there will come a dayA Poem by TwoDaysTooLateIt's kind of a back to school vent-y kind of thing, I don't even know at this point.
Maybe there will come a day,
When I'm alive and I'm okay, Not screaming, twisting or falling, Waiting for fortune to come calling. Maybe there will come a day, When I stop pushing you away, And I relax, let down my guard, They say, 'Come on, it isn't hard'. Maybe there will come a day, When I hate to leave and want to stay, The shadows no longer chase me now, The show is over, take a bow. Maybe there will come a day, I know for sure it's not today, When I don't like in my words, No one knows how much it hurts.
