Guardian Angel

A poem dedicated to a dear friend...

You hold me in your warm embrace,

As tears of pain fall from my face.

When times of sorrow pull me down,

You help me get up off the ground.

 

For years your actions hid from me,

The things you did I could not see.

But now I realise that your label,

Clearly reads "Guardian Angel".

 

From Heaven up high you have descended,

To ease my pain and ensure it's ended.

So walk with me forever more,

And no longer will my heart be sore.
