Dieing Love

Dieing Love

A Poem by TwistedcorneR

Wish you could have understood my words

Love wasn’t a strong enough connection for you

The more I would explain, the more I lost

Just wanted one last session of explanation

Now there is a crimson tide of your love

Staining the floor boards of this domestic loss

Whispers of your breath I beg for

Slowly releasing my grasp on the lifeless

Tears pour, as the rain for the fallen funeral

Strength of the grief expression too much to bear

Bearing down on my soul of hopeless remorse

Released you to heaven above

Forsaken my soul to the hell beneath

Fate bound this graphic scene

Forgiveness is lost for I can’t forgive this

Just wanted to expose my soul and win love

To the stead levied judgment losing innocence

Jury of my mind cast down their thumbs

Render execution at the forlorn rope

Justify the murder of what was love

In the end the scared boy was sacrificed tendered

Nicely done. It was dark, powerful, and made me wonder what sin had been commited to cause this kind of anguish.

Wow what a beautiful way to show pain. Your words definitely grab the reader by the throat and say "can you feel what I am saying" and all I can reply is "yes"
