Unsure BedA Poem by Twisted Words (Tom)the heart wonders, not the bodyIn an unsure bed she lays on one's promise Yet whispers of stars float before ardent eyes The hand of a prince tracing little girl dreams Her heart lies down upon distant shores Where lovers crash with the pulse of waves Their wash pulls with gentle despair on pretty legs And eyes wish to close in passion's ache As one writhes and contorts in desire stirred Of a touch which has yet to come In that unsure bed, her empty pulse lays caged and cold Yet her heart roams of stars, and distant shores To embrace the kiss of a destiny A reckless heart screams out in ignorance For it's pounding is so witlessly pure Of those distant stars and shores, only it is sure
