LamplighterA Poem by Twisted Words (Tom)the one with the flameThe placid air of twilight settles in Sliding cool fingers down city streets And across her wishful bedroom window In that un-sated day's waning Comes a mystical holder of heat It's the lamplighter's attractive glow His shameless tune vibrates softly To tickle her window panes Receptive breasts feel night winds blow A graceful dance with his diamond flame She sits down to turn away, yet On her walls, sexy shadows tango His long, straight pole brings sweet fire With a soft kiss of wick under glass The lamp exhales vibrant air, as it's fuels flow For his pole permits a lonely heart's reach Up to the aspiring, precious lamps Where one bound to streets could not normally go Men pass him by, as they walk home Toss simple greetings to their servant man A spark in his eye and graceful step below They arrive to women of loose ribbons Ego's swell in presumptuous heat Candles already lit, wax in a softened flow The lamplighter's sultry smoke makes jealous mist A flame's light can thrive only in the dark Yet empty arms, disrobing sunrise will show He'll kiss just the points of a carnal night's mouth A full taste would be plunderous sin The hour of snuffing, his tears always know Coveted, yet forsaken to stroll under stars In his heart, embers smolder of pretty lamps The lone, moonlit figure, will forever treasure their glow © 2015 Twisted Words (Tom)Reviews

I enjoy taking my feelings/thoughts and spinning them into something creative and interesting. There is variety and I try not to bore you. I hate.. more..Writing
