Kindness Of Strangers

Kindness Of Strangers

A Poem by Twisted Words (Tom)
"

my typical twist on a cliche

"
The kindness of strangers
Wind through my leaves
A bustle and tussle
Scent of new love, I breathe
The kindness of strangers
Awash over me
Swirling surf on smooth turf
Resurrected, I breathe
The kindness of strangers
'Til I'm pretty
Squeeze of lust in night's trust
"My heart sings,
Therefore I am",  I breathe

Although purists will disagree with me, I think clichés can be used in writing, and in speech, if they are used in a creative and clever way. As one writer once said, "A cliché is not a cliché when you turn it on its head." I enjoyed the read. ~ Robert.

About
I write just for fun. Mostly personal stuff. I enjoy taking my feelings/thoughts and spinning them into something creative and interesting. There is variety and I try not to bore you. I hate.. more..
