ChoicesA Poem by Kent SmothermanChoices I’ve made many choices throughout my life. Some have brought great joy, others great sorrow. So as I ponder what else might have been I see that today leads to tomorrow. For despite all my mistakes, all the pain, Those choices brought to me a love so true. So whether choices made or yet to come I’d change nothing as long as I have you. And when I reflect on my love for you I see your love for me, a love so pure That I sometimes forget it’s your choices More than any that help our love endure. So as we venture into the unknown, Together and never apart by choice, Know our love will last without bound or time, For we face the world, with love as our voice. © 2012 Kent SmothermanReviews
