Snake Charmer

Snake Charmer

A Poem by Edward Carr
"

a poem

"

Your bronze sun

shown down everywhere

over the banks,

restaurants

on the walking mall

over the roads

I drove back from you

over the trees

grass outside my place

an end to my

Samadhi

The copper tones

everywhere my eyes

could see even

over other gorgeous

women

The copper tones

matching the colors

of your skin

The skin, hair, eyes

that move with you

and me walking

that charms other

males so easily

All drawn out

your curves, your

breasts in self-portrait

lined by snakes

and dogwood.
