Nothing To Hide

Nothing To Hide

A Poem by Edward Carr
"

A poem

"

I have nothing to hide,

my guts are hanging out.

I have love to give and

noone to recieve it.

It's a dead wait holding

on for a right person.

To laugh again under

the summer sun

as worry fades away-

forever is the dream

I cannot grasp within

my hands.  Letting go

of hurt impossible-

everywhere I turn

to look it stares back at

me haunting and real.

I can empathize with these feelings truly. I might use the word 'the right person'. Nice work. Will comment more when I have more time. Thank you.
