Love's Seasons

Love's Seasons

A Poem by Edward Carr
"

A poem that needs revisions, in fact all of mine do and to tell the truth I am revising now and as such posting some of my poems.

"

Love arrives in its

proper seasons. Sometimes,

in the marrow of one's

bone's.  Sometimes,

cool and easy like a

best friend by a pond

filled with fish nibbling

toes.  Sometimes, a mix

of allure and passion that

burns like a conflagration.

Sometimes, violent

destructive need

birthing greedy possession.

Hurting a bit from a

recent love, I grow stronger

in myself, dreaming-

hopeful- without words.

This is just right said 'Baby Bear' - great, succinct descriptions of the various ways love can take us away. Thank you. I really enjoyed it.
