Come,Let us share an umbrella!

Come,Let us share an umbrella!

A Poem by TwilightSky2003
"

For everyone who is feeling lonely and outcasted , Join this poetic journey with me!

"
If there is no one around to dry your tears,
Nobody there to hold you near,
If your feeling all alone and need some hope,
Come, Let us share an umbrella!

If the storm is raging on,
And everyone once in your life is gone,
If there is no one around
To keep you safe and sound,
Come, Let us share an umbrella!

If your heart is broken,
And it makes no sound,
If the silence around
Makes you wanna break the ground
Come, Let us share an umbrella!

If no one is looking your way,
No one wants to make you stay,
If no one is helping you to shine,
Stay with me and be mine.
Come, Let us share an umbrella!

An umbrella that will keep us safe from the pain,
Safe from the people so proud and vain,
People who never opened their hearts to us,
People who let us wander around like dust.

Touching and sweet, but you might consider not using end rhymes. It will still be poetry if you use near rhymes or slant rhymes or NO rhymes. Just until you have written and read enough poetry to have a feel for was is plebeian and cliche instead of strikingly original.

DESIDERIA

by: William Wordsworth (1770-1850)

URPRISED by joy -- impatient as the Wind
I turned to share the transport -- O! with whom
But Thee, deep buried in the silent tomb,
That spot which no vicissitude can find?
Love, faithful love, recall'd thee to my mind--
But how could I forget thee? Through what power,
Even for the least division of an hour,
Have I been so beguiled as to be blind
To my most grievous loss? -- That thought's return
Was the worst pang that sorrow ever bore,
Save one, one only, when I stood forlorn,
Knowing my heart's best treasure was no more;
That neither present time, nor years unborn
Could to my sight that heavenly face restore
