Welcome Back

Welcome Back

So here you are again, love

Penetrating the thin shield I had put between you and I

Somehow you managed to lighten up my day again

You are the only sun in my sky

Welcome back, my dear

Are you really here to stay forevermore?

I don't think I could survive in your absense again..

My heart has become very fragile, you see

It would not survive the next downpour

Say that this time is different, my sweet

Say that you promise things will never change

Promise me the life I had with you before

The life before things became so very rearranged

I know I shouldn't welcome you back, dearest

I know I shouldn't let you back in like this

But somehow this time seems different..

And I feel nothing but bliss..

So welcome back, my love

Are you really here to stay forevermore?

I don't think I could survive in your absense again..

My heart has become very fragile, you see

It would not survive the next downpour..

Do I trust you?
