Come Home

Come Home

A Poem by lauren emily
"

Pretty much speaks for itself

"

I need to write a goodbye
I need to stop letting you in
You've caused me enough pain
You're just like a deadly sin

Your smile, your laugh, the things that you say
They lure me in, but the feelings soon fade

I love you, I hate you,
Yet I want nothing more
Then to just be by your side
And to forever be called yours

But you're never here
Why won't you stay?
I love you, I need you,
Please come back one day...

I actually liked what you did with the font, and that usually annoys me. I love the go away/come back of your words. Great job!

Very well written. Although i think it should be "your smile" instead of "you smile" in the second verse. Other then that I found it a very beautiful poem.
Nice write
