Bad Day

Bad Day

A Poem by lauren emily
"

I started writing this thinking I was going one direction..but it went another. lol. I think everyone could look at this and see different things. Anywho..well..enoy!

"

How much more of this can I handle?

How much more can I take?

My soul is hurting,

There is nothing to cure this ache.

How much more can I swollow?

How much more can I digest?

I'm very tired,

I would really like a rest.

How much more must I see?

How much more must I take in?

I really don't like this picture,

now my patience is wearing thin.

How much more must I suffer?

How much more must I endure?

My head is beginning to hurt,

I don't feel very secure.

How much more must I bear?

How much more must I stand?

My day isn't going to well,

and this definitely isn't what I had planned.

I've been to the place in my mind this poem writes about. I've been there more than once. Over time, I learned that no matter how bad it gets, whatever is happening will eventually come to closure and a better time will prevail for a while. Bad things happen and bad things end--even if we have to die (hopefully close to a hundred) to make it so. If everything in life were like a banana split, we would get tired of eating them. The more we bear and survive, the stronger we get.

Wow, haha, great poem. ^^
so meaningful and totally different. It's brilliant.
I really like the way it's like 2 questions and 2 scenteces after that.
Really great layout and love the way you write it.
Keep it up. :)

This poem flowed amazingly well! I know that I have had those days before where nothings going right and you just want to go to bed so tomorrow can start... and I think you captured it perfectly! Great job!!
