Unforgettable Nightmare

I had a nightmare last night..so I thought I'd write about one

Trying to run away from something

but why won't my legs move?

I'm stuck in this horrible situation

please help it improve!

But no one is coming

I'm stuck here on my own.

Is this how things will forever stay?

Am I to be kept here, all alone?

The monsters keep coming,

please tell them to leave!

I beg you to help me,

but help is not something I recieve.

It's all too real,

yet I know that it is not.

I want to wake up,

I want this nightmare to be forgot!

Ah yes. I too suffer from nightmares and found the only way out of them is to completely wake yourself up .... force yourself awake....sit up.... wake up. Go get a glass of water or splash water on your face and it generally will not return that night. That, and I pray. I think we have more control over our dreams than we realize... see if you can try and control them. Write them down when you wake up.... practice trying to wake up when you're in one. See how that works for you dear.. :)
