I've Lost The Battle

I've Lost The Battle

A Poem by lauren emily

More aimless writing..

I can't think straight,

there's too much emotion.

Why do you make me feel this way?

Why must you send my feelings into

such a commotion?

I can't seem to get over this sensation,

it's overwhelming and unreal.

Why can't I just forget about my feelings,

and try and forget this whole ordreal?

Why do I feel like I've lost the battle?

Why do I feel like this is what

I've been dreaming of?

Have I really lost the fight?

I believe I have,

..I'm falling in love.

Lol, sorry - but damn, this hit it far too close to the head. It was like hitting a thumbtack with a sledgehammer, how well this piece describes all the chaotic flakiness of falling in love. I have been so scatterbrained for so long now, it was frightening me. I had lost control and looked like I needed to be locked away in a padded room... :)
