Or do you think it to be fate,

If you find the perfect person

To call your soulmate?

 

Do you find me any better?

Do you find me any different than the last?

I've found myself falling in love with you,

my soul into the wind I do cast.

 

Do you think

You will keep my heart whole?

Do you think you will keep it polished?

Please say yes, my love

for I do not wish to see it demolished.

 

Do you think I was made for you?

Do you think you were made for me?

Because I think that by some chance,

We were meant to be.

Wow one of those EARLY am writes, I think for some reason sometimes that when we do some of our best work. It seems the ones I write that I spend days on and drive myself crazy over aren't as good as the ones that just "come along". I really think this is one of your best yet. You have good format, flow and rhyme and you painted a picture for us to imagine. I can't even pick a favorite stanza or line, I thought it was going to be the first paragraph but as I went on I liked it all. Great job my friend. Kuddo's to you. ;)
