Deja VuA Poem by lauren emilyI always seem to be writing poems in the wee hours of the morning. This one was written at 1am."I'm in love with you" I say. You repeat my confession, here I wish you to stay. Time slows down for you and me, The chaotic world seems to leave us be. But soon life begins moving again, and we fall away, seeing each other less and less everyday. Soon you are a memory, One I can soon forget. I let you slip away, for there is another I have met. He seems too good, perfect too. I tell him "I love you" but doesn't this just feel like deja vu? © 2008 lauren emilyReviews
