Time's CourseA Poem by lauren emilyJust to kind of show how we really don't have any control over timeRushing Pulling Reaching Screeching Falling through an open door Sliding Gliding Present Past Or all of time is held still Then given to you in a blast. Slowly Coming Snail-like Pace For we are impatient to finish life's race. It will burn or it will brush It will sting Or it will tease But time will go at its own pace For it is not here to please.
