Beginning Night

Beginning Night

A Poem by lauren emily
"

I wrote this a while ago. I got inspiration from sitting outside and listening, watching, and feeling nature all around me.

"

An airplane flies so close to

the moon,

a bird flies faster too.

The air is thick,

The day is done,

The moon shines brighter than the sun.

A spider begins to make its web,

A million thoughts run through my head.

Crickets chirping,

making their peaceful sound,

A tree sways in the wind,

There it is bound.

The night is here,

The stars are out,

I stand there wondering,

What it is all about.

Very descriptive. It brings a picture of a late summer evening to my mind.
