InhumanityA Poem by TwilightAlthough an exaggeration, this poem seeks to express the despondency and occasional awkwardness of many public servants and officials. Indeed, should we simply laugh or cry at their general attitude?Civil servants and public officials, regret their daily chores, seem to loathe the Republic, all they want are high salaries, and long hours to spend it,
Why do we trust them, and still accept their thraldom?
To them we are just numbers, to be treated all the same, with an inhuman contempt and disdane. © 2010 TwilightAuthor's Note
