CITY OF DARKNESSA Poem by TwilightSilent Streets where shadows creep, ever there but sometimes hiding, neon lights often do the guiding,
Lost souls with absent goals, walk the streets of this city so cold, young or old their faces how, a mere impression, where was once an afterglow,
Don't despair or ever lose hope, one way or another, we have to cope,
Express yourself through creativity, avoid feeling bitter, or the pangs of greed,
Writing, painting and photography, cinematic images and calligraphy, help to inspire and engage the mind, however dark the city, there is always light to find.
