Dark PlacesA Poem by TwilightAn example of "dark poetry", which also has a moral message...In dark places, shadows chase us, seeking out our every move,
But in days long past, if life was to last, one fought the evil ghast,
In these days of sin, we seek to win, every desire and every whim,
Not thinking ahead, of a future we dread, our thoughts but a muddled thread,
Face not fear the future, embrace divinity's tutor, you'll become a worthy suitor,
And it's darkness, which shall shun you instead... © 2009 TwilightAuthor's Note
