Intelligentsia

Intelligentsia

A Poem by Twilight
"

This piece is a comment on intelligence, and what it is really worth to us. Indeed, how does it compare with other human attributes?

"

Our intelligence is not divine,

yet far more worthy,

than a vintage wine,

Without initiative,

virtue or grace,

what hope is there,

for the human race?

The human mind,

is worth more than gold,

it cannot be over-valued,

bought or sold,

Nurture this attribute,

if you have it,

increase your knowledge,

and fill the chalice,

Be creative,

unique and strive,

stay positive and you will thrive,

in the ongoing struggle to survive,

Every day is a race,

which we have to face,

Be true to yourself,

family and friends,

our intelligence is a means,

to many different ends...

I liked this, it made almost perfect sence (ofcourse I had to read it twice to catch everything).

But I'm glad you are back, and putting up new peices!
