More Than Just A Number...

More Than Just A Number...

A Poem by Twilight

Before it's too late,

we must face the fate,

of an England which,

was once so great,

"Red tape" and waste,

data lost,

political correctness,

has such a cost,

The individual,

is now at risk,

from a socialist state,

which likes to frisk,

our uniqueness and aspirations,

and all it brings,

are complications,

Our civil liberties are now in peril,

Society's fabric,

is filled with holes,

like our worn roads,

and bitter souls,

Labour's failure,

to lessen crime,

The red wine,

of socialism,

Has proved to be,

a cataclysm,

Our society is trapped,

in a hollow prism.
