I Hate YouA Poem by TwilightI wrote this for a contest. It was inspired by someone I met in 1998.I hate you, and remember the day, when I met you, it led me astray
Your motives were cruel, yet that was your rule, to play and exploit, any young fool
On your mind was lust, envy and rage, of your immorality, I could write a page
Despite the flowers, and my kind words, humility to you, seems to absurd
Were you raised, on an animal farm?
Was I lured, by your womanly charms?
I was young, and you were old
And so at last, if the truth be told
To succeed in love, you have to mould, the way you live, yet do not go, to far to please, a harridan's soul! © 2024 TwilightAuthor's Note
