The Time In BetweenA Story by Twilight DancerInspired by Rain thank you, my friend! You live You laugh You cry You die. What happens in the time between birth and dying? There are choices, experiences, and emotions …. Have Faith … And by His grace you will be saved & enjoy His peace, comfort, strength & courage; Deny Him … And you will certainly be damned on this earth and for Eternity. Take risks …. And you will have a rich and challenging life; Live in fear …. And you will be paralyzed, stagnant, mundane, and miss the beauty of this life. Choose love … And you will experience peace, joy, belonging & become vulnerable; Choose hate … And you will be consumed by bitterness, cynicism, and torment. Live by truth… And you will be true to yourself and all others; Live by lies … And you will deny yourself and others the opportunity to know your true self. Be a leader … And do what you can to affect positive change, harmony, and peace; Be a follower … But not out of passivity, rather to nurture the growth of mankind. Chose to be wanted … And you will be liked, loved, and cherished for who you are; Chose to be needy … And you will be like a parasite – sucking the life/soul out of those around you. Cherish the pains of life … Beautiful souls are created out of the challenges of life; Deny the pains of life … And you will deny the experiences that shaped who you are. Life is not just about genetics – it’s the totality of genes, experiences, emotions, and the choices we each make – each aspect adds to our true inner self. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross: “…when you fully understand that each day you awaken could be the last you have, you take the time that day to grow, to become more of who you really are, to reach out to other human beings.” TD J 10.20.2007
