I want

I want

A Poem by Twenty Degrees

I want the pain
I want the struggle
I want the avalanche
Violent
I want the feeling
I want the screams
I want the rain
Peaceful
I want the songs
I want the hope
I want the calm
Disharmony

I want it all

I love how it starts as you want all the bad, then it slowly transitions into good too. As a writer, we crave the good and the bad in life because we need that variety, that expansion of emotion and feeling to write on and to think on. Writers truly are the strongest souls in my eyes because we can take any emotion, and any situation and create something beautiful and new with it. Thank you for sharing this piece!

So do I. As a mortal and as a woman, I want every last bit of every last moment.
Calm disharmony is brilliant.

This is similar to what I think when I hear people say "I wish I couldn't feel anything" or "I wish time would go faster". There is no point to wishing away your life. Life is about experiencing everything head on, and becoming a better person because of those experiences.
Great write :)

I like how you try to encompass everything in just a few short lines. It's raw and passionate. I can feel the power of the words and relate to it too because I as well want it all.
