True Love

True Love

A Poem by Margo Seuss
"

An entry for A Little Joy poetry contest.

"

I lean in close to taste your kiss,

I spend, with you, a moment of bliss.

My tongue, it buzzes, like a mosquito,

When I consume my gooey burrito.

A Review for the 'A Little Joy' contest.

30 words or less?
Yes!

Subject Matter?
The love of a gooey burrito. What could be more joyful than that?

Rhythm?
The second line is a little wonky, the first line is in Iambic Octameter and it feels like the second line is almost there but not quite. The last two lines are great.

Overall? I love it! This is exactly what I was looking for with this contest and in reading your other works, you excel at this fun type of writing. Great job!

Thanks for entering the contest!

Cheers,
Lawrence
