Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Jesse Landry

Ablaze and alone, i wander this wasteland
This fire it burns, this is pain i can stand
Forsaken forgotten again aint this s**t grand
Still hating myself, this world still is bland
Why cant i be happy push my buttons again
Why must we suffer tied down by this pain
Why cant we prosper why are you my bane
Why must we keep pushing until i go insane
Waiting for you in this darkness waiting as i contine to tire
Waiting to be peaceful for you to come put out this fire
Until you can find me, i will suffer in silence
Until you can get here, ill suffer this violence
This will never break me, will show it defiance
With you i renew, we should form an alliance
Your love is something tangible, i can touch you and feel
How wonderful life is, so i straighten the keel
This is the beginning, overwhelming no more
I dont have to deal with, people or this w***e
You always lighten my mood, with you i never bore because life is just wonderful and i feel it down to my core
Your love puts out the fire that i wear like a suit
So lets plunder the wreckage and snag all this loot, walk away hand in hand and give all this pain the boot
