Puzzle pieces

Puzzle pieces

A Poem by Jesse Landry

Heart all a'flutter, chest a'heavin
Dazed and slowly bobbin n weavin
lost myself in the scent of you
Your all I want, this life for two
A child’s dream not real now true
Each new second savor it I do
All so bright so shiny and new
Never thought Id be one of the few
Lucky enough to find and catch you
A perfect brain in a perfect body
Darkly deep and a little naughty
One look from those baby blues
Im finding myself screwed, you got me
The missing piece, my other half
Yin to yang similar yet not The same
so sexy all I can do is play the game
Because life has changed and for the better
You want the best my new trend setter
Its dry but you bring the rain and life gets wetter
Together in the rain we sing
Hand in hand to you I cling
If I let go she could float into the sky
Not Holding on she begins to fly I begin to fade and the farther she gets the more I die inside
There’s always a place in my heart for her too, the missing puzzle piece is shaped just like you
Your all I want and all I need I’d do anything for you, I’d cause pain and watch myself bleed
You name it, i commit a dirty deed
Cuz when your not here a suit I gain
Tailored for me to cover up my pain, help me feel that I am sane and most of all to hide myself again
So promise me you will not leave
Not again, ill do anything I don’t wanna grieve
Then, we can finally start a life
We can travel, make you my wife
And if that’s not exactly what you want
Then let Me know half this is your life were two of a kind and we make fireworks forget everyone else lets just live our lives and enjoy the percks
